Oracle just committed $300 billion to AI infrastructure. Wall Street is rotating away from tech toward industrials and healthcare.

Both of these things are true at the same time. And that's not a contradiction — it's a signal.

I've watched technology waves my entire career. I've seen the internet, mobile, cloud, and now AI arrive with enormous promise — and enormous confusion about who actually wins.

Here's what I've learned: The builders of the highway rarely become the richest people in the country. It's the ones who figure out where to put the rest stop, the hotel, the diner.

AI infrastructure spending — data centers, chips, power systems — is the highway. The $300 billion pouring into it is real, necessary, and in many ways already committed. You can't un-build that bet.

But the smarter money — the rotation Wall Street is executing right now — is quietly asking: "What businesses become 10x more valuable when this infrastructure is fully operational?"

Healthcare that can diagnose earlier. Industrials that can predict failure before it happens. Supply chains that think. Customer experiences that feel genuinely personal at global scale.

I've spent years at the intersection of technology and marketing — at SAP, Rockwell Automation, and now ServiceNow — and the pattern I see is consistent: The companies that win the AI era won't be defined by how much AI they use. They'll be defined by how clearly they communicate the human value it creates.

The technology is not the differentiator. The story you tell about what it means for your customer — that's the differentiator.

We are not in an AI bubble. We are in an AI translation moment. And that's a marketing and leadership challenge as much as a technology one.
